The quality of education is a complex idea that is one of the basic elements of the mission of universities. Guided by the principle of freedom of teaching, they create solutions aimed at improving the teaching process and better controlling its effects. On the other hand, universities operate within the framework set by external institutions, defined, among others, in the “Law on Higher Education and Science” of July 20, 2018 and in the Bologna Declaration announced in 1999. Building the quality of education is therefore both an individual challenge for each university and a number of top-down obligations that it must meet.
