The main objective of the members of the Cosmetology Student Research Group is the study of cosmetic raw materials. Research work focuses on both well-known and innovative compounds that may serve as a potential cosmetic ingredients.

As part of the group’s activities, a series of experiments is planned to evaluate the photoprotective activity and photostability of selected raw materials with known as well as potential applications in cosmetic products. Additionally, various physicochemical tests are planned, covering both cosmetic raw materials and finished formulations.

Experiments using reconstructed human epidermis are also planned in order to assess the activity and safety of cosmetic raw materials.
