About Erasmus program

Erasmus+ is a European Union program supporting international cooperation and exchanges, under which students of the Faculty of Pharmacy of the Jagiellonian University Medical College can complete part of their studies and carry out internships abroad.

Educational mobility under the Erasmus+ program is not only an excellent opportunity to take part in international research projects, but also allows you to learn about other forms of study program implementation at the Faculties of Pharmacy of European Union member states. The Erasmus+ program also creates an excellent opportunity to improve language skills, make new friends, travel, and learn about the culture and traditions of a given partner country. The experience gained abroad helps in deciding on a future career path, increases attractiveness on the labor market and develops the ability to cooperate with people from different cultures.

The following people can participate in the program:

Students of uniform master’s studies

  • 2nd – 5th year of pharmacy,
  • 2nd – 5th year of medical analytics,

Second cycle students

  • 2nd year of cosmetology,
  • 2nd year of Drug Discovery and Development

Doctoral students of the Doctoral School of Medical and Health Sciences of the Jagiellonian University

Students of the 2nd-4th year of uniform master’s studies in pharmacy and medical analytics can study at foreign universities. However, fifth-year students and second-year students of second-cycle studies in cosmetology and Drug Discovery Development usually participate in research projects or internships at partner universities.

Classes at foreign universities are held in the native language of a given country or in English.

Due to the accreditation process and individual monitoring of students’ work progress, it is not always possible to complete courses at foreign universities, but we strongly encourage students to engage in short research projects during the summer semester. In this way, you can obtain additional ECTS points that will be included in your diploma.
