We are very proud to announce that researchers from the JU Faculty of Pharmacy have once again been included in the prestigious World’s Top 2% Scientists ranking. This list, prepared by Stanford University in cooperation with Elsevier, identifies researchers whose publications are most frequently cited by other authors worldwide, demonstrating their significant impact on the advancement of science.

The results of the latest edition of the World’s Top 2% Scientists have been announced. The ranking consists of two lists: the first assesses scientific output throughout an entire career, while the second focuses on publication citations from the previous calendar year. The evaluation covers the scientific work of researchers from all fields of science based on a bibliometric index that includes criteria such as the Hirsch h-index, citation counts, and Impact Factor.

This year’s list includes a total of 133 scientists from the Jagiellonian University—20 more than last year. We extend our warmest congratulations to all the honorees, especially the representatives of our Faculty!
