Our staff in Top 2% leading researchers

More than 60 scientists from the Jagiellonian University – Medical College, including employees of the Faculty of Pharmacy, are on the recently announced list of the TOP 2% of the leading researchers in the world. The ranking – developed by Stanford University in cooperation with Elsevier and SciTech Strategies – contains the names of the top 2% of scientists with respected scientific achievements and those whose publications are most frequently cited by other authors.

The creators of the ranking evaluate the entire scientific achievements of individual researchers from all fields of science according to the bibliometric index, which takes into account criteria such as: Hirsch index, number of citations (including self-citations), Impact Factor, place and role on the list of authors (first, last place).

The first list, which assesses the overall scientific achievements from the beginning of their career, includes the following employees of the Faculty of Pharmacy:
