The competition for the Katarzyna Kulig Award has been announced, respectively the 8th edition for the habilitation thesis and the 9th edition for the doctoral dissertation.

The Award for a doctoral dissertation is open to employees of the Jagiellonian University, including the Jagiellonian University – Medical College, graduates of doctoral studies at the Jagiellonian University, including the Jagiellonian University – Medical College, graduates of the Doctoral School of Medical and Health Sciences or the Doctoral School of Exact and Natural Sciences, who defended their doctoral dissertation on the search for new drugs before their 31st birthday and whose dissertation was awarded a distinction by the relevant Discipline Council. The distinction requirement does not apply to doctoral dissertations which are or are intended to be covered by patent protection or other protection resulting from industrial property law.

The Award for a scientific achievement that was the basis for conferring the degree of habilitated doctor is open to employees of the Jagiellonian University, including the Jagiellonian University – Medical College, who obtained the degree of habilitated doctor in the field of medical sciences and health sciences in the discipline of pharmaceutical sciences on the basis of a scientific achievement of outstanding importance for pharmaceutical sciences, related to the search for new drugs, and who were awarded the degree of habilitated doctor before their 41st birthday.
