Scholarships of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for students of the JU MC Faculty of Pharmacy

The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has announced the results of the competition for the Minister’s scholarship for outstanding students for the 2025/2026 academic year. The laureates included a total of 27 students from the Jagiellonian University Medical College, which means an increase of eight people compared to the previous year.
Among the awardees are also students of the JU MC Faculty of Pharmacy, who received the scholarship for significant scientific achievements:

The Minister’s scholarship is one of the most important distinctions for students in Poland and is awarded for outstanding scientific, artistic, or sporting achievements. In this year’s edition, rectors of universities supervised by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education submitted 1,171 applications, of which 1,155 meeting the formal requirements were qualified for evaluation. Ultimately, the Minister of Science and Higher Education, Marcin Kulasek, awarded 402 scholarships – this number emphasizes the significance of the achievement of Ms. Aleksandra and Ms. Amelia.
The laureates will receive a one-time scholarship in the amount of PLN 17,000. Over PLN 6.8 million has been allocated for the implementation of the program in the 2025/2026 academic year.
